In partnership with Hymans Robertson LLP, we designed and built an office that prioritised culture, connection and a long-term view.

Hymans Robertson LLP undertook a transformative journey to enhance their workplace experience for both employees and clients.

The primary objective was to create a flexible and diverse environment, attracting employees back to the office by accommodating various work styles and fostering a sociable atmosphere for a positive cultural shift.

Simultaneously, the challenge was to balance the needs of clients and employees, integrating seamlessly with prior renovations while maintaining alignment with the brand and company culture. Special attention was dedicated to minimising disruption amidst ongoing office occupancy.

A client centric workplace experience

Our approach to transforming the workspace was centred on creating a client-centric environment.

We ensured a balance between the distinctive needs of both clients and employees by creating a customer experience-focused space on the ground floor, dedicated to customer interactions. It boasts a welcoming meet-and-greet zone, versatile breakout areas, an array of meeting rooms in varying sizes, semi-private work booths, and a sophisticated business lounge.

The design prioritises client hospitality while fostering efficient work, embodying a commitment to a client-centric workplace experience.

A tailored design strategy for employee engagement

In addressing the challenge of attracting employees back to the office, our design focused on crafting a flexible and diverse environment to allow people to mould spaces in line with diverse work requirements.

Implementing adaptable workspaces, collaborative zones, and breakout areas, we created dynamic settings that drive innovation and engagement for all. The office design also emphasised social connectivity, inviting creativity and casual interactions, fostering a sociable atmosphere supporting positive shift in culture.

The intuitive open layout not only encourages their people to move, interact, exchange ideas and innovate but also fostered employee connection and community, ultimately creating a workspace that successfully attracted and engaged team members.

Phased approach and collaboration

To address the challenge of renovating the workspace with minimal disruption during office hours, we divided the project into two phases, ensuring seamless transformation without interrupting daily operations.

The initial phase addressed less intrusive areas, preserving essential functions. The subsequent phase incorporated more built elements, timed to minimise impact during crucial work periods. To achieve this, careful coordination with employees and stakeholders, transparent communication about construction schedules, and implementing noise reduction measures further contributed to a smooth delivery.

By prioritising phased implementation and employing various disruption-minimising strategies, we successfully achieved the project goals while safeguarding business operations.
