The Challenge
BlackLine needed a workspace that could support their ambitious growth while reflecting their values and company culture. The space had to be compact yet multifunctional, inclusive, and designed with diverse user needs in mind. Creating a sense of identity without traditional branding was key, alongside fostering interaction and movement within a small footprint.
The Solution
We delivered a full CAT B fit-out of Space House’s iconic tower in central London. Inspired by the brutalist architecture of the building itself, we embraced raw finishes like exposed concrete and bold geometries, softened with natural materials and layered textures. The layout champions inclusivity and wellbeing, offering a range of zones for collaboration, focus, social connection, and retreat.
The Result
The new workspace feels like a natural extension of BlackLine’s identity; purposeful, inclusive, and dynamic. The space promotes movement and wellbeing, with features like wellness and mother’s rooms and all-gender washroom facilities, ensuring an inclusive experience. Every detail is rooted in how BlackLine works and who they are, resulting in a future-ready environment that feels both grounded and inspiring.

Brand infused
Rather than relying on deliberate use of brand color and logos, we have infused the brand within the space. It isn’t over the top, the space simply speaks for itself. Architectural form and materiality reflect BlackLine’s character; confident, transparent, and inspiring. The result is an office that doesn’t need to say who it belongs to, it simply feels like them.

From Concrete to Comfort
The interior draws from the honest aesthetic of brutalist design but tempers it with warmth, think exposed concrete paired with wood accents, textured finishes, and natural light. This balance reinforces strength while keeping the space welcoming and human.

The Opportunity
Zones are designed to suit a range of personality types and workstyles, with spaces for quiet concentration, informal conversation, and structured collaboration. A central open area called ‘The Heart’ encourages movement and spontaneous connection, turning the office into a living, social environment.
