The Challenge
The project required working around the retained ceiling and existing services, reused as part of the project’s sustainability strategy. This called for careful coordination of partitions, layouts and lighting to ensure the new design worked seamlessly within the constraints of the existing space.
The Solution
We delivered a full CAT B fit out and furniture package centred around staff wellbeing, flexibility and collaboration. A large breakout hub became the social heart of the workplace, bringing together dining areas, soft seating and informal meeting spaces to encourage day-to-day interaction across teams.
The Result
The completed workplace delivers a flexible, hybrid-ready environment that supports a range of working styles. Through careful coordination and the reuse of existing elements, the project balanced sustainability considerations with a contemporary, people-focused design outcome.
Prinova’s relocation used their move as an opportunity to create a more collaborative and people-focused workplace.
The new workplace was designed to support hybrid working while reflecting Prinova’s evolving brand identity as a global ingredients and manufacturing business. A key priority was improving the everyday staff experience through larger shared spaces that encourage connection and informal interaction.
Designed Around Everyday Experience
The workplace was planned to support movement, interaction and flexibility throughout the day. With all desks operating as hot desks, the layout encourages teams to work more dynamically while giving staff access to a wider variety of settings depending on task or preference. Open collaboration areas, informal touchdown spaces and quieter retreat zones work together to create a balanced and adaptable environment accented with touches of Prinova’s brand colours.
A central breakout space acts as the social heart of the office, addressing one of the key limitations of Prinova’s previous workplace. Designed to comfortably accommodate shared lunches, informal meetings and day-to-day interaction, the space helps strengthen connection across teams while supporting a more sociable workplace culture.
A Refined and Sustainable Fit Out
Retaining the existing ceiling and lighting formed an important part of the project’s sustainability approach. Rather than working against these constraints, the design carefully integrated new partitions and spatial planning around the existing infrastructure, reducing unnecessary waste while maintaining a cohesive visual language throughout the office.
Material selections balance warmth with simplicity, combining clean architectural lines with softer finishes and residential influences. Subtle references to Prinova’s refreshed branding are introduced through colour and detailing, helping establish a workplace identity that feels contemporary, comfortable and distinctly connected to the business.
