The Challenge

Herbalife required a single-floor workplace that could accommodate 136 desks across multiple team neighbourhoods while reinforcing wellness, collaboration and the brand identity. The structural columns and pre-existing layout presented challenges for circulation and functional planning.

The Solution

We transformed the floorplate into a flexible, open environment; carefully zoning workstations, communal hubs and meeting areas to guide movement and interaction naturally. Materials, colours and greenery were layered throughout to reflect the brand’s health-focused ethos.

The Result

The completed office encourages seamless movement, collaboration and engagement. Staff experience adaptable workstations and immersive communal hubs that articulate Herbalife’s dedication to wellbeing, sustainable practices and a culture of vitality.

Herbalife is a global health and wellness company, operating in over 90 countries and offering products that support balanced nutrition and active lifestyles. The Uxbridge office reflects the company’s commitment to employee and environmental sustainability, and an authentic, people-focused work environment in the UK market.

Flow and Movement

The layout interacts and responds directly to the floorplate’s 27 structural columns, transforming potential obstacles into subtle guides that direct movement and circulation. Reception, breakout zones and the tea point act as natural meeting and transition areas, encouraging informal interaction without interrupting workflow.

Lines of sight, clear pathways and intentional adjacency of collaborative and quiet zones create an intuitive layout that supports both teamwork and focused work without compromising flow.

Establish Visual Brand Identity

The office aesthetic reflects Herbalife’s identity through a strategic palette of greens, creams and natural timber textures – seamlessly integrated across custom furniture, feature walls and accent lighting. Branded elements including inspiring quotes, athlete jerseys and logo motifs are interwoven with immersive greenery and material choices, linking spaces together visually and experientially.

This approach ensures that every area, from reception to breakout zones, feels unified while supporting engagement, energy and the brand’s health-focused message.

Sustainable and Wellbeing-Focused Design

Sustainability and wellness were central to the design. Low-VOC finishes, energy-efficient lighting and responsibly sourced materials reinforce environmental responsibility, while biophilic elements, natural ventilation and ergonomic furniture support employee wellbeing.

Flexible, modular layouts accommodate future growth and evolving work patterns, ensuring the office remains functional, healthy and visually compelling for years to come. The design embodies Herbalife’s holistic approach to health, not just through products, but through the workplace itself.

Altin was based on site throughout the project and was consistently present and accessible, proactively addressing any issues that arose… He was also on hand during handover, providing orientation to our leadership team. Importantly, his support did not end at completion and he has remained available to assist with follow-up queries and minor adjustments, which has been greatly appreciated.
