The Challenge

Chichester College Group needed to create a new T Levels Centre at their Chichester campus and have it operating in the shortest possible timeframe and to a defined budget. Their existing music building had reached the end of its life. Rather than demolish it and build new, they chose to refurbish it in a way that would be faster, more sustainable and more cost effective.

The Solution

We worked with the college and their project partners to shape a fast-track turnkey refurbishment that delivered the full design, technical solution and complete renewal of the interior and exterior. The plan created a modern and flexible environment ready for advanced technical learning.

The Result

Chichester College Group now has a high quality T Levels Centre with digital design rooms, a green studio, immersive learning spaces, purpose-built classrooms, quiet study areas and collaborative zones. The building supports a wide range of modern teaching styles and provides a clear pathway for technical education.

Chichester College Group is one of the largest education providers in the region and offers further education, technical training and support across multiple campuses. The group helps learners develop practical skills and prepares students for work and higher study. The new T Levels Centre strengthens their commitment to modern technical education.

A Project Supported by Government Funding

The college secured a government grant of two point eight million pounds to help transform the former music building into the new T Levels Centre. This investment formed part of the national drive to support technical education across England.

Choosing to Refurbish for Speed and Sustainability

The college had originally considered demolishing the building and creating a new facility. A full refurbishment was chosen instead. This approach reduced waste, saved time and delivered a more sustainable solution for the campus.
