Middlesex University gets a head start enhancing the student experience
Work has begun on new chemical and robotics lab at Middlesex University’s Hendon campus in preparation for new and returning students in October. It’s the first significant update to the space since it was built in 2007 and is set to transform the student experience and is part of the university’s master plan for state-of-the-art teaching facilities.
Having just finished the strip out, the project currently remains on track. We have now begun building works before the first fix for mechanical and power supplies takes place. We will be co-ordinating the installation of 22 fume cupboards and associated air handling units for the controlled use of chemicals and gases will be a central feature of the job.
Currently works are on track to complete in September and we look forward to sharing the results as well as seeing student reactions.
