Reporting to the Head of Projects, you will oversee projects from adjudication to completion. Managing Construction Managers, this role involves attending pre-kick-off and kick-off meetings, reviewing buildability, and collaborating with the wider Maris team.

We are seeking a candidate with 5+ years of design and build construction experience, relevant certifications (CSCS manager’s card, First aid, SMSTS, Working At Height, IOSH), and commercial awareness. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader capable of managing and motivating a team of site-based construction professionals. The role requires engagement in continuous improvement, adherence to company policies, and a commitment to delivering projects within client budgets and timelines while exceeding expectations.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Running the project from adjudication to completion.
  • Client liaison throughout the project.
  • Attending all associated client and site meetings.
  • Reviewing project buildability and liaising with the Technical Director for detailing and drawing reviews.
  • Weekly project reporting.
  • Project delivery on time, on budget, on programme, to the highest standard.
  • Ensuring project closeout within the designated 4-week timeframe.

You will have a minimum of 5 years of design and build construction experience on projects up to £20m, coupled with a CSCS manager’s card, First Aid, SMSTS, and Working At Height certifications. Possessing a strong awareness of commercial considerations, you will demonstrate proficiency with ASTA and Procore tools. Additionally, your qualifications will include IOSH certification, JCT awareness, and a minimum of an HND/degree qualification. As a proven leader, you will showcase your ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of on-site construction professionals, ensuring the successful delivery of projects to the highest standards.

The company does not have a fixed salary scale and will pay an appropriate and fair salary based on experience and abilities.
